Dying Fetus - War Of Attrition (CD, 2007)

With four albums on their list, and the fifth out three years ago it feels like they both stay in the "safe-area" and kind of does the same thing all over again, but also tries to break new grounds. And this results in that I also feel both safe and excited at the same time - a feeling that is hard to determine whether it's good or bad.

First track 'Homicidal Retribution' is great! And so are also 'Fate of the Condemned' and 'Raping the System', but the longer into the CD I listen, the more safe I feel, which kind of makes it all feel a bit boring, I'm afraid. It's like I've heard it all before, and I miss the Dying Fetus that once made the hair on my neck stand up. Lucky for us, we still have 'Purification Through Violence' and 'Killing On Adrenaline'!!!
